Organic Dry Shampoo

Having color treated hair, I am constantly worried about the health of my hair and the easiest way to prevent damage is by avoiding over washing. Because of this concern dry shampoo is a staple in my life, and just like any beauty product, the chemicals in dry shampoo are a huge concern of mine. Here is my recommendation on my top 8 picks of Organic Dry Shampoo for Florum Fashion Magazine.

OrganicDryShampoo

Dry shampoo is meant to absorb oils from your scalp, and the thought of of toxic chemicals on my scalp and in my pores is a revolting thought. Because of this concern I turned my thoughts to Organic Dry Shampoo, and begun to start researching the top recommendations, and was surprised to find so little on Organic Dry Shampoo's (besides DIY Dry Shampoo).

I then proceeded to turn my research into action and ended up testing about a dozen dry shampoos! I found the adjustment from aerosol to non aerosol dry shampoos, at first to be a little different. However it was a quick adjustment, and I really like that I did not have to worry about the spraying the dry shampoo too close to my scalp, and getting a greasy feeling from 'butane' (found in aerosol dry shampoo). Below are the two methods that I found for applying the non aerosol Organic Dry Shampoo.

  • The quickest method to applying organic dry shampoo is by taking different sections of your hair and lightly sprinkling the powder very lightly onto your scalp. Once you have sprinkled it around your scalp, gently rub the powder in until you can no longer see the powder. Be sure you don't add too much organic dry shampoo, or you will end up not being able to rub the powder completely into your scalp.
  • My favorite method when I have a little bit more time for applying organic dry shampoo is with a bristle brush and a hair dryer. First take your bristle paddle brush and sprinkle the organic hair powder lightly onto it, then brush around your scalp, until the dry shampoo is evenly distributed. Finally pick up the blow dryer, and with a cool blast gently use the combo of the cool air blast from the blow dryer, along with your fingers to distribute the organic dry shampoo throughout your scalp and hair. (If you're look for some volume in your hair, try flipping your head upside down while doing this method).

Cash for your Luxury Bags

Beauty Submissions. Editorial Submissions. Media Submissions. Article Submissions. Mixed Media Submissions. Product Styling Submissions. Art Submissions. Poetry Submissions.

Here at Florum we get every type of submission you can imagine, and unfortunately a lot of submission that I receive are not a good fit for Florum Fashion Magazine.

So after some long careful consideration I have decided that the best way to help those trying to be apart of Florum is to tell the honest truth. My honesty regarding submissions is not what most people want to hear, however I will say it anyways. My advice "Don't submit a style of photography to  online fashion magazine, that has a total different aesthetic."

Okay.... So that wasn't that wasn't the most offensive or absurd advice on magazine submissions, however you might be surprised to the submissions we receive over here at Florum. I often find myself asking myself "Have they ever even looked at Florum's Website? Or did they just find the email on a list of submission fashion magazines?'

So I don't know if I am going to help, or just add to the clutter of 'Online Submission Fashion Magazine Lists' but who really cares? Surely not those looking to submit, for those looking to submit an online fashion editorial to an online submission fashion magazine. I hope this list of my favorite 8 Online Submission Fashion Magazines will help anyone submitting.

Good Luck and hope this opens up alot of options out there for submissions.
